This website is run by Qismat Ventures W.L.L., a company registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain (CR No. 190698-1), trading as Skyen Solutions. In this policy, "Skyen Solutions", "we", "us" and "our" mean Qismat Ventures W.L.L.

We decide how and why the personal data collected through this website is used. This makes us the data controller (in Bahraini law, the "data manager") for that data.

This policy explains how we collect and use personal data when you visit skyensolutions.com or contact us through it. It is written to meet Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) and, for visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

This website shows our education products and links to their own websites. This policy does not cover those product websites or apps. Studiely, Make My Lesson, Worksheeta and Linguatude each have their own privacy policy, which you can read on each product's website. Worksheeta is operated by Skyen Systems Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia.

3.1 Data you give us through the contact form

When you send us a message through our contact form, we collect:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number
• the name of your school or organisation
• your message

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, such as health information or religious beliefs. Please do not include this kind of information in your message.

3.2 Data collected by Google Analytics (only if you accept)

If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, your approximate location (such as country or city), and how you arrived at our website. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. If you click "Reject", Google Analytics does not run.

3.3 Technical data received by our website host

Like any website, our site runs on a server. When you visit, the server receives standard technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit. Our website is hosted by Hostinger.

We use contact form data only to reply to your enquiry and follow it up. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

We share personal data only with the service providers we need to run this website and reply to you. They act on our instructions:

• Google (Google Workspace): our email, including messages from the contact form, runs on Google Workspace.
• Google (Google Analytics): only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Our website host: Hostinger. You can read its privacy policy at hostinger.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Within our business, only team members who need to handle your enquiry can see it. We may also share personal data with professional advisers, or with courts, regulators or other authorities where the law requires it.

Our service providers may store or process personal data outside Bahrain and outside the EU and UK, including in the United States. Google relies on recognised safeguards for these transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses. Our team members may also read enquiries from Pakistan, Bahrain and Australia.

Where we transfer personal data outside the country it came from, we take steps to make sure it keeps a level of protection required by Bahraini law and, where it applies, the GDPR. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.

• Enquiries that do not lead to a client relationship: kept for 12 months from our last contact with you, then deleted.
• Enquiries that lead to a client relationship: kept under the terms of the client contract, and for as long as the law requires us to keep legal, tax and accounting records.
• Google Analytics data: kept for 14 months, in line with the setting in our Google Analytics account.
• Technical data received by our host: kept for the period set by our hosting provider.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your data
• ask us to limit how we use your data
• object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
• ask for your data in a common, machine-readable format
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent. You can do this for analytics through the "Cookie settings" link in our website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect use of your data before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email info@skyensolutions.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Bahrain, this is the Personal Data Protection Authority. In the EU, you can contact the data protection authority in your country. In the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We would be grateful for the chance to resolve your concern first, so please contact us.

This website is for adults aged 18 and over, such as school staff, teachers and parents. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. If we learn that someone under 18 has sent us personal data, we will delete it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of data while it is being sent to us.

We may update this policy when our website, our practices or the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will show a clear notice on our website.
